Der var kro indtil 1867, hvor kroholdet blev flyttet. Mens der var kro, brugte Frederik 7. og grevinde Danner at holde ind her på deres vej mellem København og Jægerspris. Gårdens udbygninger brændte i 1941, og efter branden blev gårdspladsen gjort større. Gårdspladsen er blevet dækket med ærtesten, men under dem ligger formodentlig stadig den gamle stenbrolægning.<br /> <br /> Stuehuset er i tidens løb blev en del ombygget.
